When you step through the heavy iron door on Friedrichstraße today, it’s hard to imagine that this was once the home of the legendary Cookies Club. In 2014, Heinz “Cookie” Gindullis took a bold leap and transformed this iconic club space into something entirely new: a restaurant that seamlessly blends fine dining with Berlin’s vibrant nightlife energy.
From the moment you arrive, CRACKERS breaks the mold. Guests enter through the open kitchen, setting the tone for an evening of transparency and authenticity. Here, dining and nightlife merge into one. On weekends, resident DJs bring the space to life, offering a soundtrack that perfectly complements the culinary creations coming out of the kitchen.
At CRACKERS, the menu is as innovative as the space itself. Under the direction of Head Chefs Patrick Ziegert and Felix Klawitter, the cuisine combines Berlin’s avant-garde spirit with international influences. Think fresh, sustainable fish, inventive plant-based dishes, and select cuts of regional meat. A highlight? Their close collaboration with a Brandenburg farm, ensuring that fresh, locally sourced produce is the star of every vegetarian and vegan creation.

What’s a milestone without a party? From January 9–19, 2025, CRACKERS is marking its 10th anniversary with a special sharing menu designed for celebration.
- Start with three appetizers for the whole table.
- Follow up with a show-stopping main course and two sides to share.
- End on a sweet note with dessert.
Choose between the fish/meat option (€89pp) or the plant-based version (€59pp), both of which include a glass of Ruinart Champagne to toast the occasion. CRACKERS classics like truffle carpaccio and grilled iceberg lettuce will also be available as add-ons.
The gastronomic reputation of CRACKERS is built on its signature dishes, and the 10-year anniversary menu is a testament to this. For starters, indulge in a trio for sharing: hand-cut fillet of beef tartare, served with organic egg yolk, truffle cream, and fried capers; or the cured brook trout with tiger’s milk; and burrata paired with kimchi and sweet pear chutney.
Vegan options include a velvety chestnut soup, sous-vide radicchio from Treviso with cannellini bean aioli and pickled figs, and beetroot with cashew cheese, olive oil emulsion, and balsamic vinegar.
For mains, choose between melt-in-the-mouth AlmOxx beef fillet, panko-breaded halibut with lemon beurre blanc, or pan-fried tofu with sesame-chili baby spinach and pickled spring onions. All mains are served with creamy mashed potatoes and twice-fried peanut oil french fries.
The sweet finale? CRACKERS’ signature New York-style cheesecake, encased in decadent salted caramel, is the perfect ending to this celebratory feast.
