Every February, Berlin pulls off its best magic trick: Berlinale — suddenly the city feels wide awake. International stars roll into town, the red carpets light up, cinemas fill up, and dinner reservations get louder.
This year’s 76th Berlinale brought that energy back in full force — and we loved being right in the middle of it. Cookie and Bea kicked things off at Opening Night, and all week our team was out and about — catching films, bumping into familiar faces, and bouncing between the industry moments that only Berlinale week delivers.
Congratulations to “Yellow Letters”, this year’s winning film — and a special shout-out to Michelle Yeoh, who received the Honorary Golden Bear. And yes — the party calendar delivered. There were nights hosted by BTA, X Filme (hello, Tom Tykwer), Bvlgari x Constantin Film, Babelsberg at Soho House, and plenty more that turned just a toast into a full storyline.
To close it all out, Crackers hosted the official Berlinale Closing Party — the night where winners, filmmakers, industry friends, and the entire beautifully sleep-deprived Berlinale universe comes together one last time. We kept it very Crackers: a packed room, disco balls, and a lot of dancing. Behind the bar, we were shaking and pouring all night with Crackers cocktails, a few crowd favourites, and amazing music by Sarah Wild.
